Jiangsu and China Energy Engineering Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Sunday. Xin Changxing, secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Xu Kunlin, governor of Jiangsu, met with Song Hailiang, chairman of China Energy Engineering Corporation, and General Manager Sun Hongshui.

After briefing the guests on Jiangsu"s in-depth study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping"s important speeches and solid promotion of high-quality development, Xin Changxing pointed out that China Energy Construction is the national team and main force of China"s energy, power and infrastructure construction, and the province’s high-quality development is inseparable from the participation and support of China Energy Construction.

He hoped that the two sides would take this signing as a new starting point, deepen all-round cooperation around building a new energy system, promoting green and low-carbon transformation, and jointly building the "the Belt and Road" with high quality, and strive to achieve a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly serve the overall development of the country.

Song Hailiang thanked Jiangsu for its strong support for the development of China Energy Construction before givinga briefing on the company’s reform, development, and industrial layout.

He said that Jiangsu has strong economic strength, complete industrial chain, and abundant innovation resources, making it a key strategic market and investment destination for China Energy Construction.

China Energy Construction will give full play to its advantages in integrated development and diversified integration, invest more high-quality projects in Jiangsu, and settle more high-end platforms in Jiangsu so as to provide strong support for high-quality development and modernization construction in Jiangsu.

According to the agreement, both parties will create more demonstration samples in areas such as energy infrastructure, new urbanization, comprehensive transportation, modern water conservancy, ecological environment protection, digital economy, and "energy+" integrated development.
